Good AI rap video prompts give a short performance one clear subject, mood and action. The current creator separates visual style, optional scene, your idea and music style. This guide reflects those choices as of November 5, 2026. Examples below are writing suggestions, not verified generated clips.
How do you start an AI rap video prompt?
Start with one or two reference photos, a single performance idea and a clip length. For short clips, one clear action is more useful than a long sequence of events.
Use one or two photos, one per lead. With two subjects, ask to keep both visible and their identities separate. Have permission for the images; any real people must be consenting adults. For animal scenes, use the matching animal reference rather than asking to replace a person's identity.
Choose 5, 10 or 15 seconds in Video settings. For 5 seconds, plan one short phrase and one gesture; for a duo, one shared moment is more realistic than several exchanges. At 10 or 15 seconds, try a brief hook or simple exchange with a clear ending. The current creator does not offer new 20-, 25- or 30-second clips.
Your idea can contain up to 1,500 characters, but a focused paragraph usually communicates more clearly. A useful order is topic → setting → mood → one action → camera. Leave it blank if the selected style and scene are enough, or choose No scene to describe your own setting.
Street Rap: grounded and direct
Scenes: Graffiti session, City after dark, Subway session, Street rap battle.
Try: Select Street Rap and Graffiti session, then write: “An original rap about finishing my first marathon. Confident but relaxed, one open-palm gesture, warm afternoon light and a steady medium shot.”
For two uploaded leads, Street rap battle can support a friendly exchange: “Two friends celebrate a shared win, one short line each, both faces visible, no aggressive gestures.” Use 10 or 15 seconds for that direction; exact turn-taking and timing remain model-dependent. With one photo, this scene requests a solo battle-style performance, not an invented opponent.
Trap: controlled energy and dramatic light
Scenes: Neon studio, Luxury car, Dark stage, Cyber trap.
Try: Select Trap and Neon studio: “A short original hook about quietly building my own business. Direct eye contact, restrained shoulder movement, violet studio lighting and a slow camera push.”
Choose Trap under Music style for a bass-heavy sound, or keep Match my style. The visual style controls the look and performance direction; the separate music choice guides the generated beat and vocal mood. Neither is an artist-voice cloning feature.
Old School: warm, relaxed storytelling
Scenes: 90s street corner, Vintage studio, Boombox dance, Underground VHS.
Try: Select Old School and 90s street corner: “A warm rap about the friends who helped me get started. Relaxed shoulder bounce, an easy smile, an eye-level camera and a complete closing line.”
Boom Bap is a matching music direction. For Boombox dance, request a small side-step with feet visible rather than complex choreography. Avoid asking the camera to cut between several locations in one short clip.
Funny Rap: one clear visual joke
Scenes: Sunglasses cat, Hoodie dog, Grandma freestyle, Office freestyle.
Try: Select Funny Rap and Office freestyle: “A comically serious victory rap about finally clearing my inbox. One proud nod, a deadpan look at the camera and a small smile at the end.”
Playful Rap can reinforce the mood. Keep the joke in the expression or situation. For Sunglasses cat or Hoodie dog, use an appropriate pet reference and ask for small head or paw movements, not human hands. Grandma freestyle should match the uploaded subject; it is not a guaranteed age-transformation tool.
Anime Rap: keep one animation style
Scenes: Anime neon street, 3D cartoon, Cyberpunk, Comic panels.
Try: Select Anime Rap and Anime neon street: “An original animated rap about finding the courage to start again. Keep the reference character recognizable, use consistent 2D cel shading, one confident gesture and a stable medium shot.”
For 3D cartoon, ask for consistent 3D rendering instead. Avoid requesting live action, flat illustration and 3D transformations in the same short clip. Scene selection guides the rendering style; it does not guarantee perfect character consistency.
Can you add lyrics to an AI rap video prompt?
Yes. You can include short original or authorized lyrics in your idea, but the generated words, timing and lip sync may differ from your request.
You can enter a topic, story or short lyrics in Your idea. Use your own or authorized words and state the desired language. A five-second request might be: “Rap in English: ‘Small steps, big dreams.’ Keep it to this short phrase.” Longer lyrics may not fit; exact delivery and lip sync are not guaranteed. There is no word-level or per-person lyric timeline.
Try the topic shortcuts or Get inspired when you need a starting point. If the AI assistant is available, Refine idea can suggest a revision. Read it before choosing Use this idea; suggestions do not automatically overwrite your text or start a video. Manual writing remains available without the assistant.
Which video settings work best for your rap idea?
Match the duration, aspect ratio and music style to the action you describe. Keep the idea short enough for the chosen clip and review the final credit cost before confirming.
- Music style: Match my style, Trap, Boom Bap, Drill, Lo-fi, Melodic Rap or Playful Rap, when Generate audio is on.
- Audio: Lite always includes AI audio. Standard and HD can turn Generate audio off for a silent video; song references in the idea do not upload a song. The current creator has no music-file, reference-audio or Suno/Udio import.
- Quality: Lite and Standard request 480p; HD requests 720p. Their rates are 4, 12 and 25 credits/second respectively. The displayed total depends on your selected 5-, 10- or 15-second duration, not aspect ratio or the audio switch.
- Format: 9:16, 16:9, 4:3 or 1:1. Keep important faces and gestures inside the chosen frame, especially for a vertical duo.
Dimmed choices are unavailable under the current service configuration. Review the final idea, permissions, settings and credit total before confirming generation. When the MP4 is ready, inspect the whole clip; prompts and scene illustrations are directions, not quality guarantees.
